Animal BFFs Help Special Needs Kids

Dogs help children develop stronger social and communication skills

Offering unconditional love, animal BFFs help special needs kids.

Their needs are many. Some have sensory issues. Others have trouble in social situations.

Whatever their need, autistic children have found help and comfort from pets. Service dogs, cats, rabbits, even rats, have helped children with a wide range of conditions and disabilities.

One dog, named Clyde, recognizes when his young owner feels anxious. Springing to his side, the chocolate Labrador nudges the boy with his paws, immediately calming him.

Discover how Clyde helped his young owner and how those with pets may develop stronger social and communication skills. http://bit.ly/specialneedskidsandtheirbffs
