Does love exist? Can scientists create a test to prove that love exists? Scientists think an MRI of the brain could one day prove you are in love.

You know how disorienting it can be. You have the perfect first date, and the next day you have that queasy, fizzy feeling that leaves you all but useless. Are you in love, or is it just infatuation or lust — or something you ate?

Now you can find out for sure: just hop on over to your doctor’s office for an MRI scan of your brain.

Researchers for a study published in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience discovered unambiguous “activation increases in brain regions involved in the processing of reward, motivation and emotion regulation” for subjects in love.
